The Rapsody R35 V-Foil has been officially nominated for the Boat of the Year 2026 Motorboat Award, one of the most respected recognitions in the Dutch boating industry. The nomination was announced by HISWA te Water following a record-breaking year of entries in the motor yacht category, where fourteen new models competed for just three finalist positions.
Being selected as one of the three finalists is an important milestone. It reflects the jury’s recognition of the R35 V-Foil®’s innovative design, craftsmanship, and distinctive approach to modern yachting.
The Dutch-built R35 V-Foil® combines the timeless elegance that defines every Rapsody with forward-thinking technology. Its advanced V-Foil® hull concept, developed in collaboration with Simonis Voogd Design, is engineered to deliver exceptional comfort, efficiency, and handling, while preserving the refined character and premium finish for which the brand is known.
The Motorboat Award jury evaluates each nominee through extensive on-water testing ahead of HISWA te Water 2026. Technical innovation, build quality, performance, usability, and overall design all play a key role in determining the winner. The final sea trials will take place in Bataviahaven, Lelystad, before the award ceremony on 1 September 2026, one day before Europe’s largest in-water boat show opens its doors.
