Rapsody Yachts proudly presents the R35 V-Foil®, a groundbreaking addition to its iconic fleet. This new model has been developed in collaboration with the renowned Simonis Voogd Design. The R35 V-Foil® marks a new era in yacht building.
Revolutionary V-Foil® underwater hull
The R35 is the first yacht to feature the revolutionary V-Foil® underwater hull. This unique technology provides lift, delivering excellent sailing characteristics with greater efficiency and reduced fuel consumption. The V-Foil® enhances both stability and comfort. The first hull is being constructed in close collaboration with Paul Dijkstra Composites, the specialist in composite construction.
The R35 V-Foil®: Luxury and Versatility
The R35 V-Foil® combines classic design with advanced technology. It is available in four versions:
- R35 V-Foil® Cabrio
An elegant, streamlined design with an open cockpit – perfect for those who crave ultimate freedom on the water.
- R35 V-Foil® Nordic
Equipped with a robust enclosed T-top featuring a sliding roof and roof racks – ideal for adventurous trips and changing weather conditions.
- R35 V-Foil® Classic
A timeless model with a refined wood-look and open cockpit, blending the charm of traditional yachts with modern technology
- R35 V-Foil® Panoramic
A stylish T-top with open side windows, offering panoramic views and an enhanced onboard experience.
All four versions feature a cabin with a master bedroom for two and a spacious wet room equipped with a toilet and separate shower. The large cockpit with open transom can be modularly configured with a seating area and galley, and offers a choice between a central sunbed or dual sunbeds on port and starboard sides, creating a central walkway.
The R35 V-Foil®: Dimensions & Features
The R35 V-Foil® merges elegance with performance and efficiency. Measuring 10.67 meters in length and 3.20 meters in width, the yacht boasts a spacious and thoughtfully designed layout. Thanks to the innovative V-Foil® technology, fuel savings of up to 20% are achievable. The V-Foil® also significantly enhances onboard comfort without compromising on speed.
V-Foil®: Innovation on the Water
The V-Foil® technology, developed in collaboration with Simonis Voogd Design, is a true innovation. Unlike traditional hydrofoils, the V-Foil® offers a maximum lift of 35 cm. This maintains the signature aesthetic of the Rapsody hull while fully leveraging the advantages of hydrofoil technology. The system reduces water resistance, improves stability and comfort, and optimizes fuel efficiency – making the R35 V-Foil® a sustainable choice for the future.
The R35 V-Foil® is currently in production, with sea trials scheduled for Q1 2026. The yacht will be available from €599,000 excluding VAT and delivery.
